I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has worked in a variety of positions within the fields of social work and mental health over the past 20 years. I have provided effective, evidence- based treatments to children, adolescents, young adults, and adults struggling to manage symptoms of Depression, Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Trauma, Adjustment Disorder, and ADHD.
Approach and Areas of Expertise
I believe in working with my clients to develop a collaborative, therapeutic relationship. I utilize evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Behavioral Activation, and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), to help individuals across the lifespan. I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents and can be an advocate for families to access support in the school setting as related to their children’s mental health needs. I’ve provided evidence-based therapies in a variety of settings, including in-home Family-Based Therapy, Crisis Services in the Emergency Department of Abington Memorial Hospital, School Counseling in an elementary school setting, and most recently in a Partial Hospitalization Program at Rogers Behavioral Health, a premier, anxiety treatment facility, where I was trained in Behavioral Activation and ERP.
